These fittings allow you to take your build to the next level and add an element of ease during assembly. By eliminating the need for barbed fittings and worm-gear hose clamps, the -AN Straight Swivel fitting uses strong mechanical coupling methods to provide trustworthy seals that will last a lifetime. The simple two-piece design allows for a cost-effective and robust final product, while remaining compatible with a multitude of fluids, including oil, transmission fluid, coolant, water, methanol, nitrous, and more.

How to assemble:

1.  Separate the two halves of the fitting by unthreading the male side from the female side.

2. Insert the hose into the female side using a clockwise turning motion to avoid damaging the hose’s braded cover.

3. Apply oil or similar lubricant to the threaded male side and begin threading it into the female half that now holds the hose. (Note: it is a good idea to apply a piece of painter’s tape to the hose as a point of reference once it has been inserted into the female half. This can be used to ensure that the hose is not backing out while threading the male half into the hose/female half.)

4. Begin to tighten the two halves together until the two sections are fully seated. (Note: It is recommended to use an aluminum AN wrench and blocks to avoid damaging the anodized finish.)
